Ann Marie Speno, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, specializes in the healing of eating and body image issues. Prior to completing her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, Ann received her PhD in Literature from UC Santa Cruz. During her doctoral studies, she researched, taught and wrote about the social history of Anorexia and Bulimia. This awareness of the cultural component in eating problems, combined with her counseling training, allows her to bring to her clients an in-depth and compassionate understanding of their struggles.
